Tim Smith – Vice President

Timothy O. Smith has been with Dallas 1 Corporation since 2001.  He began in the Estimating Department and quickly through his gifts and talents became Vice President of Business Development. Tim received his BS Degree in Business Administration from Ottawa University, Kansas.

Tim has been involved in the Site Development/Underground Contractor Industry since the late 1970’s. Before becoming a member of the Dallas 1 Team, Tim was Estimator and then Vice President for Larkin Contracting, Inc.  He also was part owner and President of Mueller Site Development.  Tim has been a member of The C12 Group since 2001.

He has been and is still highly involved with SUCA – Suncoast Utility Contractors Associated as a past President and Board Member; UUCF – Underground Utility Contractor of Florida as a past Board Member; and  NUCA – National Utility Contractors Association as a past Board Member.

Tim enjoyed being a Boy Scouts of America Assistant Troop Leader between 1993-1997 and has been a Board Member since 2007.  He has been a Board Member of  Everyday Blessings, Inc., Tampa, FL since 2007,  which provides services to abused, abandoned and neglected children with the ultimate goal of placing them into safe, stable and permanent homes. Currently, he is also a member of the University Community Hospital Foundation, Tampa, FL since 2009.
